Augusta Hurling Club

We play the Irish sports of Hurling and Gaelic Football in the Central Savannah River Area.

After visiting Ireland in 2004, our founder Kristopher Wells, brought back a love of the country, its music, culture, and especially it’s sport. In the spring of 2009, he had gathered enough gear to play scrimmage matches, so he began recruiting friends to try the Irish game of hurling that is still relatively unknown in America.
